Type 6s are always looking for guidance and support. They don’t trust themselves to make good decisions and either look to others or do tons of research before moving forward. They are cautious folks full of doubts, anxiety and a tendency to catastrophize.  The attention of a 6 is on safety, which makes them good protectors. 6s are always scanning the horizon for danger and have a tendency towards being suspicious of the world. Type 6 people are team players, and are incredibly loyal. While fear and phobias are classic type 6 attributes, some 6s can display counter phobic tendencies. I married a 6 woman. At first she was sooo confusing. She would be interested, then I wouldn't hear from her for days. Then she would be clinging and then again, almost like a boomerang, would back off and fly back again, over and over. I could tell she was scared of the intensity of her attachment and would react defensively as a result. If she felt nervous or insecure she would pick a fight with me to push me away, when really what she wanted were declarations of love and loyalty and devotion on my part because she was fearing potentially being hurt and left.

It was definitely a dance, a confusing, exciting, wonderful, frustrating one… and at times still is… but she is also the most loyal, passionate and wonderful person I've ever known. Kindest heart ever, beneath her sometimes “I don't care about you” facade. I think 6 women are the BEST.
