Enneagram 9 Nickname: “The Peacemaker” or “The Mediator” (also called “The Healer”, “The Utopian”, “Nobody Special”)

Type 9 is called the “Peacemaker” because of their focus on avoiding inner and outer conflict and keeping everything peaceful. They often go with the flow and forget their own needs, desires and identity. 9s have the ability to ignore things that disturb them and numb out to protect themselves from unsettling emotion. This focus on the bright side of life and mellow, agreeable demeanor make 9s pleasant to be around, but the ability to tune out can also dull their intuition and correctly read the people around them. 9s typically repress their anger and will deny they are angry if you ask them.
